Horses

There is something about the outside of a horse

That is good for the inside of a man.

Pitter Patter Raindrops

I hear thunder,
I hear thunder.

Oh, don't you?
Oh, don't you?

Pitter-patter raindrops;
Pitter-patter raindrops;

I am wet through!
I am wet through!

The Writings On The Wall

A gRaffiTi
Sebastian Meer
Photobucket

With spray paint cans
Upon blank walls
A statement Made
In letters tall

It's mostly names
Of those who came
In search of
Fifteen minute fame

Some colour in
A street of grey
To hide the filth
For one more day

Should we chastise
Those who take part
Or recognise
This crime as art

'Old Nog'

The woodcock now upon the wing
Is flitting past to upland spring;
The fern owl wheels above the brake,
The heron screams from yonder lake;
The Dart is moaning down the dell,
Like music from a muffled bell.

Edward Davies
1863

Harvest Moon
By
Neil Young

Come a little bit closer
Hear what I have to say
Just like children sleepin'
We could dream this night away.
.
But theres a full moon risin'
Lets go dancin' in the light
We know where the musics playin'
Lets go out and feel the night.

Because I'm still in love with you
I want to see you dance again
Because Im still in love with you
On this harvest moon.
.
When we were strangers
I watched you from afar
When we were lovers
I loved you with all my heart.
.
But now its gettin' late
And the moon is climbin' high
I want to celebrate
See it shinin' in your eye.
.
Because I'm still in love with you
I want to see you dance again
Because I'm still in love with you
On this harvest moon.

Farewell to the Farm
Robert Louis Stevenson

THE COACH is at the door at last;
The eager children, mounting fast
And kissing hands, in chorus sing:
Good-bye, good-bye, to everything!

To house and garden, field and lawn,
The meadow-gates we swang upon,
To pump and stable, tree and swing,
Good-bye, good-bye, to everything!

And fare you well for evermore,
O ladder at the hayloft door,
O hayloft where the cobwebs cling,
Good-bye, good-bye, to everything!

Crack goes the whip, and off we go;
The trees and houses smaller grow;
Last, round the woody turn we swing;
Good-bye, good-bye, to everything!

Sky Watch Post (click pics to enlarge)

White Clouds
High flying fleet of billowy boats,
Quietly cruising celestial seas.
Windblown wads in whimsical shapes,
Gracefully riding the heavenly breeze.
...

White-robed Bedouins bound to the sky,
Wandering aimlessly out of my view.
Would that my cares could be as the clouds,
Lifted, wafted, lost in the blue.
